Shadow Savant

A shadow savant has intimate ties to the plane of shadows. They can be of any alignment but many choose neither good or evil and remain neutral.

To qualify to become an shadow savant, a character must fulfil all of the following criteria.

Spellcasting: Must be able to cast 3rd level or higher spells

Class Skills

The shadow savant's class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are: Bluff (Cha), Craft (Int), Diplomacy (Cha), Escape Artist (Dex), Fly (Dex), Intimidate (Cha), Knowledge (Int): (all skills, taken individually), Linguistics (Int), Perception (Wis), Profession (Wis), Sense Motive (Wis), Spellcraft (Int), Stealth (Dex), Use Magic Device (Cha).

Skill Ranks per Level 2 + Int modifier.

Class Features

All of the following are class features of the shadow savant.

Weapons And Armor Proficiency: Shadow savants gain no proficiency with any weapon or armor.

Spellcasting: When a new shadow savant level is gained, the character gains new spells per day as if they had also gained a level in a spellcasting class they belonged to before adding the prestige class. The character does not, however, gain other benefits a character of that class would have gained, except for additional spells per day, spells known (if they are a spontaneous spellcaster), and an increased effective level of spellcasting. If a character had more than one spellcasting class before becoming a shadow savant, they must decide to which class he adds the new level for purposes of determining spells per day.

Shadow Bound Caster I: Blessed by the shadows and disliked by the light. All of your spells that possess the darkness/shadow, cold, or negative energy type—or that deal with shadows and darkness—receive a +1 stacking bonus to caster level and DC. All fire, light, and positive energy spells you cast receive a -1 bonus to their caster level and DC.

Cold Resistance: You gain resistance to cold 10

No longer need to eat: Energy from the plane of shadow has began to merge with your body You no longer need to eat.

See in Darkness (Ex): You can see perfectly in darkness of any kind, including magical.

Shadow Bound Caster II: The bonus' to your darkness/shadow, cold, and negative energy spells increases by an additional +1 (+2 total now) and the penalties to your fire, light, and positive energy spells increases by an additional -1 (-2 total now)

Fear Immunity: The energy from the plane of shadow that has merged with your body has slowly changed your mind, granting you immunity to fear.

Negative Energy Resistance: You gain resistance to negative energy 10

No longer require sleep: You no longer require sleep.

Shadow Bound Caster III: The bonus' to your darkness/shadow, cold, and negative energy spells increases by an additional +1 (+3 total now) and the penalties to your fire, light, and positive energy spells increases by an additional -1 (-3 total now)

Suppress Light (Su): A number of times per day equal to your constitution modifier (minimum 1) you can suppress all light sources within a 10 ft. radius area per Character Level you possess, plunging the area into complete darkness or low-light conditions. This lasts for 1 minute/level. For the purpose of countering and dispelling light spells, this abilities spell level is counted as being equal to half your level.

No longer need to breathe: Taking in even more energy from the plane of shadow you no longer need to breathe

Shadow Lich Transformation: Shadow stuff has fused with every cell in your body turning you into a Shadow Lich. You gain the Shadow Lich Templete
